As I looked into the trees, just a few yards in from the end of the point, I could see a whirlwind inside of what looked like a round spotlight shining into the trees. The wind was spinning and whirling around so hard that it was bending the trees over and scattering leaves everywhere. This was all within a circled area of about forty-five yards in diameter. After realizing what I was looking at, my curiosity made me look several yards to the right, to see if the whirlwind existed anywhere else. As I moved my eyes, the light and the whirlwind moved exactly together, as though they were one and the same thing, toward the location I was moving my eyes to. It was as though my eyes were steering the light along with the whirlwind to wherever I was choosing to look. This realization awakened fear in me once again, intensifying with each passing second...
The next thing I knew, I was absent from all of these situations, with only the awareness of an audible thunderous noise in my head which had grown from being a very quiet rumble to a much louder sound over a period of a few seconds. Building to a deafening crescendo, it was about as loud as the roar of standing directly behind the blast of several jet engines accelerating full throttle, all at the same time. This thunderous noise had become so loud in my head that it seemed as though it was about to explode when suddenly, it began to get quieter until there was complete silence.
I then found myself looking into a small round opening, about one inch in diameter, that was surrounded by darkness. As I looked into it, it appeared to be a lens with circular scratches on it that I could see as the result of light coming through from the other side. It was as if I was looking through a telescope where something was coming into focus upon my putting forth a certain amount of effort with my eyes. In a matter of seconds, a scene in front of me came into full view.
Spanning approximately forty to fifty yards, from one side to the other, was a hill that was more beautiful than anything I'd ever seen before. It had three or four large , soft looking pine trees on it, each with branches sloping down to a thick layer of velvety green grass that evenly covered the surface of the hill. Standing alone, it appeared to be about forty or fifty yards high. From behind and mostly around the top of the hill there was an orange-yellowish glow that blended in beautifully with its lush green grass and long needled pine trees. Everything on it remained motionless, but richly alive. It was full of life, but unusually quiet and still. It resembled some hills I've seen along the country side, but there was a richness about it that surpassed any place I'd ever seen before. Looking at it was breath taking and the colorful glow it had gave it an element of sacredness that I'd never witnessed before.
I felt close to it, but the hill appeared to be about fifty yards away from where I continued to look at it through the round lens. I tried drawing closer, but there was nothing I could do to change the distance. It looked similar to places on earth, but was too perfect and too pure for it to ever be in the world I was a part of... After intensively staring at it for what seemed like ten or fifteen seconds, it slowly started fading away. I struggled to keep it in view, but within four or five seconds, it was gone. The next thing I knew, I was awake, but positioned about four feet above my body which was still on the couch. I struggled to move my arm until realizing that it was impossible, because I wasn't in my body where I was laying, four feet below...
